Saint Mary Student Parish Capital Campaign
Saint Mary Student Parish, a Jesuit-run Catholic parish for the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, contacted me about producing a video for a capital campaign they aimed to launch in fall of 2024, in partnership with the Diocese of Lansing’s Stewardship for Saints and Scholars campaign. The parish is celebrating its Centennial anniversary in 2025, which provides another time peg for the capital campaign. I did most of the scripting and structuring of this video, as well as filmed all of the scenes at the parish. There were at least 10 interviews completed and more than 3 hours of them to sort through.
The campaign successfully launched in October 2024, and my involvement included this main campaign video, a version with Spanish subtitles, a Spanish-language short version, and several Instagram Reel cuts for social media promotion. It was completed over a time period of about two months.
Spanish-language version
Given that Saint Mary Student Parish is a haven for refugees and has a large population of Spanish-speaking parishioners, we decided it would be beneficial to have a Spanish-language version of the capital campaign video as well.

GTACS Prayer Breakfast Video
I began working with Grand Traverse Area Catholic Schools in 2023 by producing the video for their annual Gladhander auction. Shortly after the auction had successfully concluded, the staff at GTACS asked me to come back to produce another video for another marquee event for the school system the following spring, the annual Prayer Breakfast. Of the two events, the Prayer Breakfast is a more formal opportunity for donors to sit and truly take in a video (Gladhander is a far more upbeat and frenetic event that often has people socializing throughout the video presentation).
GTACS wanted to highlight an effort at Immaculate Conception Elementary School that had finally come to fruition after several years of planning: The introduction of a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd atrium. The CGS program is part of the many ways that GTACS is aiming to strengthen its Catholic identity throughout all levels of the school system, and it was my pleasure to produce this short video about the effort.
