Katelyn works as a hairstylist and has done bridal hair for many weddings before. So when it came time for her own wedding to her sweetheart Nate, it was all the more special! Though she couldn’t fight the urge to help her bridesmaids with their own hair in the getting-ready part of the day! Katelyn and Nate continued to grow their relationship despite the distance between them from Lansing to Grand Rapids, and their beautiful wedding was held at The Broadway Avenue in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was a day rooted in prayer as the groomsmen prayed over Nate before the ceremony, as did the bridesmaids over Katelyn. The ceremony was even complete with a ceremonial foot-washing from groom to bride and vice versa, symbolizing their complementary roles in the marriage.
