Kathryn is a good friend of mine from the Diocese of Lansing, who ironically also originally hails from Wichita. She herself is a wedding photographer, and I would frequently bring her in as a freelance photographer at the Diocese of Lansing to help us with projects. So when she asked me to film her own wedding, I was honored. Kathryn and George met shortly after Kathryn landed in Jackson, Michigan, around COVID times. Working at a local coffee shop in downtown Jackson, she met George, an introverted but sweet man who started coming in more and more frequently. Soon the two got to know each other, and the rest is history. Both share a passion for photography and their Catholic faith - luckily their wedding Mass was celebrated at perhaps the most beautiful church in the diocese, St. Mary Star of the Sea in Jackson.
